All that Glitters

Is Not Always Gold!

I love glitter! I love pretty much anything that sparkles! So the April Use Your Stash theme of All that Glitters was right up my alley!

If you got here from Paige Dolecki's blog, you are on the right track, but if you get lost along the way, just return to Wendy Kessler's blog where you will find the complete list of hoppers.

For this theme, I tossed up making a set of cards, then thought about doing a layout, and had a really hard time deciding and getting started. I finally decided on a set of cards. I used several different papers from my stash - Close to my Heart Dream Pop (remember that one from a year or so ago?), Pear and Partridge, and Brushed, as well as Pink Glitter Paper and Green Glitter Paper. On the Thanks cards I used Silver Glimmer Trim. The sentiments come from various stamp sets and are all stamped on White Daisy cardstock (except the Thank You) using Smoothie, Ruby and Black Exclusive Inks. The images are cut using the Artiste and Art Philosophy Cricut cartridges.

The Thanks and Holly Jolly images are cut using the Artiste cartridge but off the top of my head I am not which keys.

This card is my favourite! I love how the flower turned out! The glitter paper flower is cut with the Art Philosophy cartridge using Shift+Tag (Flower8) and the pink overlay is Layer+Shift+Tag. This is the last key in the third row.

I distressed the Christmas tags because it kind of got lost on the page without it.

Well, that's it for me this month. Thanks for stopping by! Please leave a comment as you go as I always look forward to your feedback, good or not so good.

Your next stop is the NJ Stamping Queen, Marie Flayer. Happy hopping!!
