Welcome to our October Blog Hop featuring the new Cricut Artistry bundle. We hope that you will take the time to leave comments on our posts, as we love to get feedback from our viewers, whether it was something that you really liked or some new technique that was used that you would like to learn how to do. By leaving us comments, we get to hear what you like, and what you want to see. Thank you. Now on to our hop!

If you have just hopped onto my blog, you can start here as this is a circular hop, but if you want to follow us across Canada then please start at the beginning and join Michelle in Nova Scotia. If you came from Brandy's blog then you are in the right place!

I really love our Cricut cartridges, and this newest one will certainly add new dimension to your paper crafting! Each of our cartridges has 700 images (imagine! 700!!) from basic shapes to fonts to overlays and everything in between! Each image can be cut larger for a scrapbook layout or smaller for a card by using Real Dial Size. Also, by using Contour in Design Space or Hide Contour in Cricut Craft Room, you can delete any spaces inside the image to make a solid image to place behind the original image as shown in this card.

I selected the image (Background, <q>) in Design Space and then copied it. I selected the copied image and clicked Contour so that I could delete all of the spaces inside the image. Then I cut them both out and adhered the top one onto the solid one to give an interesting background. The sentiment is from Wavy Blooms (D1651) stamped in Cocoa, and I added the three clear gems just because!

I also cut out a few other images I am going to use in a mini-album for my pooches! They are all found on the Artistry cartridge as well (Icon 1, <9>; Icon 1, <shift>, <9>; Icon 2, <9>; Icon 2, <Shift>, <Brace>). I still have to make the mini and will post photos once it is done, and I need to cut out some more images...

For more information on the fantastic Cricut Artistry cartridge, here's Karly from Close to my Heart to tell you more!

That's it for this month! Thanks for hopping along with us! I hope you leave your comments as you go through our hop as we love to hear what you think, whether it is a technique you like or something you would like more information about. Your next stop is Heather's blog for some more beautiful artwork! See you next month when our theme will be Preparing for Christmas.
